Functional testing (FCT) for Ensuring PCB Performance
Functional testing is the final step in the PCB manufacturing process, ensuring that the PCB operates correctly. Unlike tests that focus on individual components, functional tests evaluate the entire assembly.
We can perform functional testing using equipment supplied by the customer or, alternatively, we can design and build the necessary testing equipment based on the provided and thoroughly specified requirements.

Advanced 3D AOI Control for PCB assembly Quality
All processes are continuously developing, improving, and optimizing to enhance efficiency and quality within production network. The identification of best practices in quality control is achieved through testing.
The AOI is one of the most effective and vital steps in our PCB Assembly inspection process.

How AOI Enhances PCB Assembly Accuracy
Automatic Optical Inspection (AOI) system utilises a camera to scan the PCB, collects images comparing the tested solder joints against parameters stored in a database. . Following image processing, the system identifies any defects on the PCB, allowing for reliable detection and correction of errors before proceeding to the next processing step. The AOI system is capable of detecting various issues, including incorrect polarity, excessive or insufficient solder, missing components, improper soldering, and deviations from the expected height profile of components, among others.

In addition to AOI, we test the assembly boards using Functional testing and the in-circuit test (ICT). This comprehensive approach effectively protects both THT and SMD designs, guaranteeing a thorough inspection of your boards.
